About Us
This ministry operates in Hampton, VA. The Executive Director is Rev. Dr. Clinton Hardy who, along with his wife Dr. Cecilia Hardy, founded the 501c3 non-profit organization in 2002. Dr. Hardy is the Program Manager and Secretary of the JTC Life Changing Center, Inc. Together they have the compassion and dedication to meet the needs of helping their community!
The organization was founded because Rev. Dr. Clinton and Dr. Cecilia Hardy felt a connection and a need to reach out to a community surrounded by churches that seemed inadequate to deal with the issues that have plagued the area such as crime, drugs, prostitution, low-income family issues, and individuals re-entering the community from prison with inadequate preparation.
The Hardy’s began to address the needs of the community by first offering G.E.D. preparatory classes. As the success of these classes progressed additional classes and counseling sessions were added.
Doctors Cecilia & Clinton Hardy do extensive work inside of local jails to assist the incarcerated in breaking free of the cycles of the Penal system and setting them on a positive path of reintegration in to society. Both of the Doctors are Board Certified Therapists and Re-Entry Crisis Counselors. They spend the rest of their time mentoring to and helping their community in the many other ways outlined in this flier.
